Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.
Rudy's Pizza set to open new restaurant in south Manchester neighbourhood
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA new Rudy's Pizza restaurant could be opening in Didsbury at the site of a former food hall. Bosses at the beloved pizzeria have filed a licensing application for the Mad Giant food hall on Wilmslow Road.
If approved, the Rudy’s venue is expected to seat more than 90 guests and could be open from 11am until midnight daily. The Didsbury food and drink hall shut down in October 2020 after its owners said they were 'left with no choice' but to close due to the ongoing impact of the pandemic.
In the years prior to the food hall revamp, the venue was home to tapas bar La Cantina and Cafe Rouge. If the go ahead is given, the Didsbury restaurant would be Rudy’s fifth Manchester location following pizzerias in Ancoats, the city centre, Sale and most recently Chorlton.
