Rita Ora and Taika Waititi 'set to marry soon' after 'both proposing to each other'

Rita Ora is reportedly 'set to marry soon' after getting engaged to film director Taika Waititi. According to The Sun, the singer, 31, and her fiancé proposed to one another 'simultaneously' and are now preparing to have an intimate wedding, which will be followed by a big London bash in the summer.

A source told the paper: "This isn’t about them doing a big showy thing and crowing about it beforehand. It’s just about them being in love and deciding the time is right to formalise their relationship. "They couldn’t be happier.” Rita and Taika will reportedly tie the knot as soon as their work schedules allow them to.

Whilst the pop star is currently occupied with her coach role on The Voice Australia, as well as film projects, director Taika has a whole host of projects coming up, including a new addition to the Star Wars universe.

"There’s no ring or big build-up.They just got closer and closer and eventually said to each other almost simultaneously, ‘I want to marry you’. “It’s actually really romantic and just exactly the way they are together." Speaking about how the couple plan to make their intimate vows abroad, the source said: "So the plan is to marry abroad, as soon as their respective projects end, with their closest friends and family around them. "And then there will be a big celebration in London at a later stage, when they get the chance, with all their famous friends there.
