Wildfires continue to rage on Greek islands as thousands of Brits have been evacuated from areas affected by fires. The island of Rhodes has been particularly hard-hit and a blaze there has continued to move inland, spreading through mountainous forest areas and parts of a nature reserve.

Temperatures have already risen above 40C in parts of Greece on Tuesday as fires continue to burn in Rhodes, Corfu and Evia.

More than 20,000 people have been involved in evacuations on Rhodes, authorities said, as fires swept through two coastal areas on the south east of the island.

Maps and satellite images have shown the areas of Rhodes impacted by the wildfires. On Google Maps you can check where the wildfires are and it currently shows the two inland areas affected by major wildfires, Eleousa and Laerma.
