Real coronavirus death toll in Scotland is 4119 according to new NRS statistics

The weekly statistics account for all deaths registered in Scotland where Covid-19 is mentioned on the death certificate. Figures are different to those released daily during the Scottish Government’s  press briefing as they account for all suspected and probable cases of the virus in hospitals.

The NRS shows there were 49 deaths related to  coronavirus between registered in week 25, June 15-21, – which is decrease of 20 on last week.
