Rangers have reportedly joined a string of European clubs who are threatening to block their players playing at the African Cup of Nations.
It comes amid growing coronavirus fears and concerns over a lack of measures in place to stop the Ibrox stars catching the virus once there.
The Cameroon tournament is due to start on January 9 and run until February 6, with Nigeria's Joe Aribo, Calvin Bassey and Leon Balogun expected to be called up.
However, the European Club Association - of which Rangers are a member - has said it is not satisfied organisers would implement strict protocols to prevent the spread of the disease, according to a letter seen by the Telegraph.
