Queues are building in Wythenshawe as people scramble to get their final McDonald's before fast food chain shuts

There are long queues of traffic in Wythenshawe due to McDonald's customers queuing to get their final takeaway treat before the fast food chain shuts.

Last night the fast food chain announced it was shutting all of its restaurants in the UK due to concerns over coronavirus. The nationwide closure will take place from 7pm on Monday.

Hungry McDonald's customers have started queuing in their cars outside the drive-thru on Altrincham Road, in Baguley. A video showed long tailbacks building on Altrincham Road, travelling towards Sharston.
