Queen Elizabeth did not attend the Church of England’s national assembly on Tuesday (November 16) as she continues to rest for her health.
This marks the first time she has missed the General Synod in its 51-year history. Her youngest son Prince Edward represented the 95-year-old Prince Edward, who was already scheduled to join her at the ceremony.
The Queen shared a message about the national assembly and included a reference to her late husband Prince Philip, who passed away in April at the age of 99.
