The Cholmondeley Arms in Malpas, Cheshire, is known locally as 'The Chum' and has been highlighted in The Guardian's list of the UK's top 30 Sunday lunch venues.
The pub is in an old schoolhouse converted in the 1980s with food placing an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients, CheshireLive reports.
There are pheasant goujons to start or a 'pub and seafood' platter to share. For something a bit different there are devilled lamb's kidneys.
For mains a 28-day aged sirloin steak is a constant feature. The steak is served with all the trimmings including Yorkshire puddings, duck fat roasted potatoes, greens, all drowned in red wine gravy.
