Police shut off road after reports of gun shots in Cheetham Hill

Police have launched an investigation after reports gun shots were heard in Cheetham Hill. Officers were called to Kelvin Grove after residents said they heard shots fired in the early hours of Monday morning (May 11).

There are no reports of any injuries. Officers continue to investigate and the road has been sealed off with police tape. An eyewitness said they believed three shots were fired.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with further information to come forward.
