Rowdy Ayrshire kids have been sent home to their parents for causing disorder in a park over the weekend.Police sent six youths up the road before being charged in connection with a number of offences including assault, disorder and vandalism.Additional officers were dispatched to the Howard Park in Kilmarnock after numerous instances of antisocial behaviour. It comes after a boozed up gang of teens in suits attacked a boy walking through the park the previous weekend.Inspector Iain Farmer of the Kilmarnock locality policing team says he's still concerned that a small group of kids are still visiting the town centre to cause annoyance and harm to locals.Inspector Farmer said: “I have recently reached out to parents, asking that they are aware of their children’s whereabouts and activities.

I remain concerned that a small minority still continue to visit the town centre to cause annoyance and harm to those wishing to enjoy Kilmarnock’s facilities.“We will continue to work with partners to ensure that the town remains a safe place for the community.

We will also keep regular patrols going, to provide a positive and visible presence, using enforcement tactics if necessary.“My message to young people in the area is to consider your actions and how they affect others within the community.

We also ask anyone with information or concerns to report these by calling 101 and we will take robust action.”The Ayrshire Live app is available to download now.Get all the local news in your area – plus features, football news and the latest on the coronavirus crisis – at your fingertips 24/7.The free download features the latest breaking news and exclusive stories while you can customise your page with the sections that matter to you.The
