A drone, drugs and mobile phones have been intercepted by police near Strangeways prison. Officers are now appealing for the public's help to trace to owner, following the discovery on Wednesday.
The items are also being sent away for forensic examination, with police warning 'the owner will have some questions to answer'. A statement on the GMP North Manchester Facebook page said: "Today officers from the Cheetham Neighbourhood team intercepted a drone, drugs and quantity of mobile phones in the #Strangeways area.
If you recognise this drone or can identify the owner please contact us via email 65291@gmp.police.uk or Crimestoppers. The items will be sent off for forensic examination as the owner will have some questions to answer."
