Police draft in specialists as concern increases for missing Ayrshire man

A picture of the last confirmed sighting of a missing Ayrshire man has been released by police.Corry Ferguson vanished from his home in Saltcoats on Tuesday, March 1 with the last confirmed sighting of the 26-year-old in a Spar shop on Wheatley Road in the town.

Corry is described as white, around 6ft in height and of slim build with brown hair. When he was last seen he was wearing a black parka jacket, a green hooded top, grey jogging trousers, white trainers and a black baseball cap.Detectives hunting for Corry have drafted in specialist advisors as concern increases for the man.Inspector Barry McNaught said: “We are extremely concerned for Corry’s welfare as it is totally out of character for him to go missing and not to keep in contact with his family.
