Police are appealing for information after a cyclist suffered serious injuries following a crash in Uddingston. The 43-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow after being hit by a car on the B7071 Uddingston Road at the junction to Hornal Road at Bothwell Industrial Estate at around 5.10pm on Wednesday, November 3.

The collision also involved a grey Peugeot 208 car. None of the occupants were injured.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
