Police appeal for witnesses after collision involving van and moped in Fraserburgh

Police in Aberdeenshire are appealing for witnesses following a two-vehicle smash near Pitullie in Fraserburgh. The smash, which involved a small white van and a white moped, took place at around 1pm on Tuesday, August 3, on the B9031 between Sandhaven and Rosehearty near to Pitullie.The rider of the moped was knocked off and sustained minor injuries as a result.Officers are asking for anyone who might have witnessed the crash or have dash cam footage of the incident to get in touch with them.Constable Morrison of Fraserburgh Community Police Office said: “We are appealing for information and urge anyone who witnessed the collision but has not yet spoken to Police to come forward.
