Police are appealing for information after two cars were set on fire in Bellshill and Larkhall at the weekend.A white Audi parked in Machan Road in Larkhall was damaged at around 6.30pm on Saturday, April 25, and a silver Toyota was also damaged in Gilmour Place in Bellshill at around 6.15pm.Detective Sergeant Jimmy Williamson said: ‘We are carrying out investigations after both cars have deliberately been set alight.

It is understood a grey-coloured vehicle was at the scene of both incidents and we believe both of these crimes to be linked.

I would appeal to anyone who may have been in either of the areas and witnessed anything suspicious to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting 3447 of Apri 25l."
