Highland Perthshire cycling event announced for October. Cycling Scotland’s Pedal Highland Perthshire is free to enter and is among the first Pedal for Scotland events to be held since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The cycle-thon is set in the grounds of Blair Castle in Blair Atholl, and the route will be marshalled and will take in a variety of estate tracks, quiet single-track roads and eventing fields.

The route is three miles long and can be enjoyed more than once.Most of the route is flat with a ‘challenge hill’ on the quiet tarmac road.The event aims to provide a “welcoming, safe and fun environment” for people new to cycling and families with younger children.It will be held subject to local public health guidance and protocols.
