Padma Lakshmi is taking issue with beauty ads that are directed a people of color, which emphasize that a fair complexion is lovely, but a darker is not. “For years I‘ve been saying that ‘Fair & Lovely’ needs to pack their fake cosmetics and GO!!” the 49-year-old author wrote on Twitter. “Anyone else out there sick and tired of being told that fair=lovely?
