Richard Lyle, an SNP backbencher, raised their plight at First Minister’s Questions in Holyrood on Wednesday. He said the Covid-19 restrictions mean they cannot access funding because of loopholes in the small business bonus fund or because they don't have business bank accounts.Lyle said: "Both of those facts have ensured that their applications have been refused - that has been confirmed to me by the agencies that operate the funds."In parliament, Lyle continued: "Will the Scottish Government review those conditions in.
