Nicola Adams has shared a sweet video on Instagram where she can be seen cradling her girlfriend’s blossoming baby bump. Nicola, 39, and her girlfriend Ella Baig, 23, announced the exciting news last month that they’re expecting their first child together.

They wrote alongside a black and white photo of them kissing: “We’re so excited to announce that our family is expanding. “After what feels like a lifetime, we can finally say we’re going to be parents! "We’re so excited to share this magical journey with you all, the ups, the downs everything in between.” They added: "Welcome to the world little one".

In a new clip shared on Instagram on Sunday 6 March, the pair shared a close up shot of their baby scan, as they moved the picture away from the camera to show Nicola cradling Ella’s baby bump.

Beauty blogger Ella then looked up at Nicola adoringly. Nicola captioned the sweet video: “I can’t wait for the baby to be born”.
