NATALIE Cassidy has paid tribute to EastEnders legend June Brown and recalled their favourite scene together in an emotional appearance on The On Show.
The veteran actress, who played fan favourite Dot Cotton in the BBC soap, died at her home on Sunday aged 95 with her co-star sharing her sadness over the news today.
Natalie, who has appeared in EastEnders as Sonia since 1993, was invited onto the programme to share memories of June and hailed June as her mentor and friend.
She said: "I don't know where to start really, it's really a sad day. She was an absolute powerhouse, she was incredible to work with, she was fun, she was professional, cheeky and naughty at the same time.
