EastEnders fans are calling for a "proper conclusion" and tribute for June Brown on the BBC soap, following the legendary actress' passing.
Walford icon June died on Sunday 3 April at the age of 95. She played Albert Square's favourite elderly resident Dot Cotton for 35 years and has long remained one of the most popular characters on the show after first landing on the soap in 1985.
June played Dot in a whopping 2,884 episodes of the soap. When she decided to leave in 2020, her character was written out rather than killed off, with Dot moving to Ireland to live with her grandson, Charlie.
EastEnders said they'd left to door open for Dot to return but June ruled out a comeback to the soap, saying she'd "sent her off to Ireland and that's where she'll stay".
