NAGA Munchetty's BBC co-star has admitted she's 'sharp' and 'doesn't take c**p' amid fan backlash. The BBC Breakfast host came under fire last year after fans accused her of being "rude" to Saturday Kitchen host, Matt Tebbutt.
Naga, 47, was on the show in March last year alongside her co-host Charlie Stayt but were accused of being "obnoxious, rude, and self-absorbed".
The BBC then received over 700 complaints about the show, but Matt, 48, has now defended Naga, saying: "She is really, really good fun." Matt and Naga often speak via video link as she hands over to him on a Saturday morning, but he admitted to The Express: "I met her once in actual life, when I made BBC Breakfast many years ago, but it's just that toing and froing, that news link." Matt elaborated on why he liked working with Naga, saying: "I love her sort of sharp tone.
