Mum's anger as son 'suffers bad chest and clothes go mouldy' in damp council house

A mum who claims her child's clothes have turned mouldy as a result of the damp in his bedroom has slammed the council for not providing them with suitable housing.

Lucie Crozier moved into a two bedroom council house in March along with partner Ryan Cramb, 33, and three-year-old son Carter, who has additional needs.

The family quickly realised that the Gateshead property was riddled with damp and contacted their local authority, Chronicle Live reports.
