A mum-of-two has revealed how she reinvented her existing dull doors for just £10. Lorraine Kafanke from Cumbria wanted to introduce Crittall doors in her home, but the cost of £1,200 was way out of her budget.
Instead the savvy DIYer recreated her own dupe of the pricey doors for less than £10. Lorraine now has stylish kitchen doors that are on-trend, for much less than the quote she was given. They didn’t match the style or look I was going for but we were gifted them for free," Lorraine told LatestDeals. "I came up with the idea when I saw some doors online that I really wanted but couldn’t afford. "I thought 'why not try and create the look myself on a much cheaper scale?’".
For the first step, Lorraine used electrical tape which cost her just 79p. "I used the electrical tape and measured out four equal sections to create a glass panel look," she explained. “I wasn’t sure the tape would work but it’s easily removed if the look didn’t suit.
