wheelchair user has been trapped inside his home for almost a year - because he can't get through the front door. Former teacher, David MacLean, who has MS, hasn't been outside for fresh air since January because of the raised threshold to his council house.

He was unable to access his bathroom for the first 11 months, and still cannot reach his kitchen sink.He struggles to reach light switches and sockets and says the property in Cupar, Fife, isn't suited to his needs.
