Sam and Billie Faiers unimpressed after being turned away from fancy London restaurant
ok.co.ukSam and Billie Faiers have shared their dismay at being turned away from a high-end London restaurant, after turning up 20 minutes late for their reservation.
The pair had been in London with their mum Suzie to celebrate her 53rd birthday, and booked a table at the upmarket sushi eatery Sexy Fish in advance.
However, the trio were left disappointed when their table was given away after they arrived 20 minutes late – which was five minutes after Sexy Fish’s grace period ended.
Discussing the matter on their Sam & Billie Show podcast, Sam, 31, explained: "I booked mum’s dinner on this concierge app, so we’ve walked into the restaurant and we were 15 minutes late, no, 20 minutes late, we had our reservation, got to the restaurant 20 minutes late, walked in, just the three of us." The soon-to-be mum-of-three then claimed that the staff had an “attitude” towards them. “From that kind of restaurant you do not expect that kind of service,” Billie, 32, added. "You’d expect something like ‘I’m really sorry, you're a little bit over the waiting period for your table, could you have a drink at the bar?
