Mountain rescue drama as skier injured in horror off-piste fall at Glenshee

They were helped by a worker at the Glenshee Ski Centre and a local gamekeeper.The casualty was taken to hospital by the R199 rescue helicopter, based at Prestwick, after being stabilised by the team on the ground.A spokesman for the Mountain Rescue team said: “Full Team Call Out to Glenshee this afternoon, for a “back country” skier with a chest injury.“We wish the casualty a speedy recovery.
