The number of girls unable to afford or access period products since the start of the pandemic has tripled and Bloody Good Period, a charity that supplies products to those who can’t afford them, has donated over 60,000 packs of sanitary pads since the beginning of last year.

Now Morrisons has launched its own initiative to help those who may be struggling to get access to sanitary products. A shopper shared a note in store on Twitter which told shoppers to 'Ask for Sandy'.
