Sydney. The 29-year-old posed alongside a number of players at the match, including Jordan King. She then showed off her skills on the court, playing alongside other notable guests including Nova radio star Michael 'Wippa' Wipfli.

Maria wore a series of outfits during and before the game, including a black activewear set. She had earlier arrived in an oversized purple blazer which she matched with a pair of knee-high black boots.

Once on the court she donned a basketball shirt and shorts along with sneakers, and flaunted her ball skills. It comes after the model revealed she is thinking about entering the political arena in a bid to support marginalised communities.  'I've been thinking about it,' the 29-year-old told Now To Love. 'It's always been in the back of my mind.

Maybe in the future, it's something I want to do. 'The brunette beauty also admitted her pageant career has often led to her being pigeonholed as nothing more than a model, despite her impressive education. 'Because I chose to do Miss Universe, there were remarks that I was being reduced to model,' she said. 'I was a tertiary-educated HR worker who was nominated for scholarship.
