Meghan Markle has won her High Court bid to protect the identities of her five friends who anonymously spoke about her to a US magazine.
Five of Meghan’s closest friends defended her in an article in People Magazine and in July, the Duchess of Sussex appealed to the court against naming them in legal documents. The High Court has ruled that the five friends, addressed in court as A, B, C, D and E, won't be named in court "for the time being, at least”.
However, Mr Justice Warby warned their names may need to be made public in the future. Get exclusive celebrity stories and fabulous photoshoots straight to your inbox with OK's daily newsletter.
