Gow Rum Distillery, which shares its island home with one of Orkney's best-known attractions, the Italian Chapel. Originally born in the Netherlands, before moving to Orkney when he was 8, Kirkwall-based Collin came up with the idea for the new rum, which takes its name from the infamous Orcadian pirate John Gow, in 2016, after returning to the island from Edinburgh a few years earlier to work with the family business.
