Matthew Wright was left red-faced when he was caught shouting at his family live on This Morning at the beginning of a segment.The outspoken TV star was discussing the latest news topics with hosts Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes from his home on Tuesday 18 January and was unaware that his shouts had been heard by the pair, who were in the studio.The daytime presenters were also joined by guest Camilla Tominey, who was confused when she also had heard noise as Matthew uttered: “Upstairs please”, moments into their conversation.
Camilla thought the shouts were coming from a crew member backstage and so continued talking, while Phillip and Rochelle were seen laughing as they knew who the real culprit was.

Lightheartedly, Phillip let Matthew know that his shouting had been picked up through his camera at home for them to hear, causing the fellow presenter to immediately cringe and giggle nervously as he covered his face in shame. “We've got Matthew there who has finished shouting at his family now to keep quiet,” Phillip said as Rochelle laughed again, before adding: "Yeah, we caught you." At one point, a mortified Matthew placed his hands over his head in shock that he’d been caught out on air and confessed that he was "much more of a shouty, shouty parent", to which both This Morning hosts responded: We did hear that, we got that." Known to be quite “shouty” when leading his own panel of discussions, Matthew appeared embarrassed over being this way at home, although he was reassured by guest Camilla that “we’ve all been there.” The 56 year old still seemed in happy.
