Phillip Bryan Schofield (born 1 April 1962) is an English television presenter who works for ITV. He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

ITV This Morning's Rochelle Humes stuns Phillip Schofield into silence with age remark

Phillip Schofield is used to chatting away thanks to being a presenter for the best part of three decades. But on Tuesday's episode of This Morning, the TV star was stunned into silence thanks to a remark from Rochelle Humes.

The pair were back at the helm of the ITV daytime programme with Holly Willoughby still away filming another show for the BBC.

At the start of today's show, the pair were teasing viewers with what they had to look forward to when Phillip shared his excitement about one of the show's guests. But it led to Rochelle reminding her co-presenter just how much younger she is than him. Phillip, 59, recalled meeting brothers Pat Kane and Greg Kane in 1987 through one of his TV jobs at the time. "I just went over and had a chat with the guys, and we reckon it might have been the last time I saw them was 1987, in the Going Live studio, which used to be just round the corner from here," the presenter explained. "No way," Rochelle replied before hitting her co-star with a brutal fact: "Do you want me to tell you something really real? "That was two years before I was born." The former Saturday's singer added: "I didn't want to do it but I felt I had to!" Phillip struggled to hide his disdain as Rochelle, who is 32, giggled.
