They appeared to be the perfect match, but things quickly went sour on the honeymoon. Viewers saw the couple arrive in Lisbon before finding themselves in a heated exchange that saw Matt storm out of a restaurant.
The newlyweds fell out after Gemma made a sexual remark while the pair were enjoying drinks. She spent the wedding reception doing the same, and Matt reached his breaking point.
Explaining how it made him feel, Matt told her: "You are sexually pushing me away. It makes me go in on myself. I don't know what it is but for me it shuts me off. "The hit programme then fast-forwards to the following day with a teary Gemma explaining Matt had stormed out of dinner.
