Liverpool expect Manchester City to take maximum points from their remaining 10 games, manager Jurgen Klopp admits. City have led the way in the Premier League since December, and at one point looked like running away with the title, but Liverpool have pulled the Blues back and sit just three points behind after beating Brighton on Saturday.
For now, both sides have played the same amount of games, but City's fixture at Crystal Palace on Monday will give Liverpool back their game in hand, which they play against Arsenal on Wednesday.
If Liverpool keep winning - including against City at the Etihad next month - they will be level on points and they currently have a marginally better goal difference. If they do that, City will be champions on 99 points, while Liverpool will have fallen agonisingly short again - with a maximum of 93 points on the assumption they lose at the Etihad.
