United are considering a training camp in Malta as the Covid-19 pandemic has prevented a lucrative tour outside Europe for the second summer running.
United announced a partnership with Visit Malta last season. A club source confirmed to the Manchester Evening News United are still working on a possible itinerary but any trip to Malta would depend on UK government travel restrictions.
