Man seriously injured in Glasgow stabbing as cops hunt attackers

Glasgow. As we reported earlier today, numerous streets in the south side of the city were sealed off this morning due to the incident.

Police confirmed a 30-year-old man was seriously injured in Brunton Street, in the Cathcart area, at around 12.20am. He was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to stab wounds.

Medical staff describe his condition as stable. It is understood he was in a fight with two Asian men who then left the scene in a black Audi A5.Police area appealing for witnesses.The first man is described as in his late 20s, short and wearing dark clothing.
