Man rushed to hospital with serious injuries after 'assault' on residential street
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries following an alleged assault in Tameside. Greater Manchester Police says it was called out to Firethorn Drive in the Godley area of Hyde at around 8.25pm on Saturday (April 9).
Police rushed out to the scene along with paramedics, following reports of an assault. GMP says a man in his 20s was taken to hospital with a leg injury, which North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) has described as serious.
Enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information about the incident is being urged to come forward.
