Manchester City are attempting to produce more players like Phil Foden according to academy director Jason Wilcox. Foden is widely regarded as the most promising youngster to break through from the academy into the first-team squad.
The 19-year-old has struggled for regular minutes under Pep Guardiola this season but is expected to take more responsibility following David Silva's departure at the end of the season.
