A man was assaulted after a car smashed into seven other vehicles in south Manchester. A huge emergency services response was sparked after the smash on the A6 Stockport Road in Longsight just before midnight last night (Tuesday).
Eight vehicles were involved altogether - a moving car, then seven others that were either parked up or travelling the opposite way, police said.
A man in one of the vehicles got out and was reportedly assaulted at the scene, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police added.
