Man arrested after one person stabbed and 10 others injured in attack spree

A 33-year-old man has been arrested after a series of assaults in a town centre. One man in his 20s has been taken to hospital after being stabbed, while another 10 people suffered minor injuries.

The series of assaults took place in Bedworth, Warwickshire, at around 8am this morning (Saturday April 23). CoventryLive reports that one man was left 'covered in blood' following the incident and that victims are helping police with their investigation.

Warwickshire Police say that a man walked along Coventry Road and then Gilbert Close assaulting a number of members of the public.

The man who was reportedly stabbed remains in hospital in a stable condition, while the arrested man currently remains in police custody.
