girl was allegedly abducted from her home. Ismail Quarba, 25 and Annmarie Lawton, 29, from Bristol were charged with detaining a child so as to keep her from a person having lawful control of her.

The child, aged 8, was allegedly taken and kept away from her home overnight.Police say she was unharmed, the Mirror reports.

Her family are now being supported by specialist officers.It's alleged the pair took the girl to McDonald's at around 3pm on Wednesday, December 16.She was expected to return home around an hour later but failed to do so.Her mother raised the alarm at around 7pm.In a statement Avon and Somerset Police said in a statement: "The child, an eight-year-old girl from Bedminster, Bristol, is safe and well and the family is being.
