Wigan schoolboy by driving dangerously. Jack Worwood was struck down while on his way to play football with his friends on July 7.
The 13-year-old was walking along the pavement on Old Road in Ashton-in-Makerfield when he was hit by a Jaguar car at around 4.30pm.
Tragically, he died the next day having suffered serious injuries.Liam Wilson, of Dovedale Road, Ashton-in-Makerfield, appeared at Bolton Crown Court today (Friday), where he pleaded guilty to causing Jack's death by dangerous driving.He entered a not guilty plea to a second charge of assault by beating of an emergency worker.He was remanded in custody and is due to be sentenced at Bolton Crown Court on September 3.Following Jack's death, his heartbroken family issued an emotional.
