Love Island's Tom Powell shares behind-the-scenes look as he gets breast reduction surgery
ok.co.ukLove Island star Tom Powell has undergone breast reduction surgery – also known as gynecomastia surgery – and live streamed the operation for his 235,000 Instagram followers to watch.
Tom, 30, found fame on the 2016 series of the popular ITV2 reality show, and used his social media platform to showcase how straightforward the operation was.Tom, a health and fitness coach, had his gynecomastia procedure at Signature Clinic’s Cardiff-based surgery, which was performed by Dr.
John Skevofilax. As per the NHS’ website, gynaecomastia (sometimes referred to as "man boobs") is a common condition that causes boys' and men's breasts to swell and become larger than normal.
It is most common in teenage boys and older men. The operation is thought to have taken around 15 minutes, with Tom later branding it as being “so, so easy”.
