It’s not looking good for Love Island’s seventh season. The beloved ITV show could be in jeopardy as coronavirus concerns reach countries around the globe.

With coronavirus hitting Mallorca with 17 cases confirmed and already one death, the show may not be able to go ahead in June.

A source has claimed that the series has been thrown in doubt as travel and accommodation is limited on the island of Mallorca.

According to The Sun, ITV bosses are following guidelines set by the World Health Organisation and Public Health England. They are expected to have a contingency plan in place if the virus is still a major issue when the new series is set to start in June.
