LOOSE Women's Jane McDonald burst into tears as she opened up about the death of her fiancé Eddie Rothe for the first time. The 58-year-old sadly lost her long-term partner Ed aged 67, to lung cancer in March this year.

Jane - who co-presented the Loose Women from 2004 to 2014 - returned to the ITV show to talk about her loss for the first time with Kaye Adams, Nadia Sawalha and Carol McGiffin.

Emotions ran high in the studio just seconds into the segment after her former co-stars welcomed her back into the studio. Kaye said: "People might be thinking 'Why is poor Jane sitting here?'" As Jane wiped the tears from her eyes, she said: "I don't want to feel sad for the rest of my life.
