Chynna was a rapper beloved in her city of Philadelphia, poised for wider success before her tragic death on April 8, 2020 at the age of 25.

Today, on what would have been the rapper's 26th birthday, her estate has shared a brand new song called "stupkid." The bleary, underwater production from Kashaka amplifies Chynna's heartache and knotty emotional ambivalence.

Her depiction of a toxic relationship, and the jumping back and forth between pride and desperation that comes with it, makes for a compelling listen.
