Leeann Dempster fires meteor warning to SPFL as Hibs chief urges focus on important issues

Leeann Dempster insists Scottish football is about to be smashed by a METEOR. And the Hibs chief-executive last night admitted surviving the shuddering impact is the biggest challenge the game has ever faced.

Dempster says football must be braced to withstand the financial implications, stresses and disruption which will continue to come due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Easter Road chief is part of the SPFL and SFA Club Operations sub-group which has been set-up to try and find ways to help clubs survive the chaos, re-open locked doors and get the game going again.
