A dad who set up a lockdown support group is encouraging Lanarkshire residents to sign up.Scott McLeod from Glasgow set up the Facebook group ‘Lockdown with the kids’ with his mum several years ago.The group welcomes both mums and dads seeking advice and support and anyone anywhere is welcome to join and he's now trying to recruit more Lanarkshire parents into the group.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

I’m a full-time dad to my little boy, Archie. “The group helped us to meet new people and make new friends. It started to grow a lot during lockdown, due to the fact people weren’t allowed out of their homes.“My group gave them somewhere to chat, ask for advice and make new friends.

We’ve had a few meet ups and plan to do more over the summer holidays.“We currently have over 12,000 members from all over. I want to encourage more people to join and I think it would benefit people in the Lanarkshire area and would love to have them join."It’s a great way to meet new people.
