Lanarkshire biker hits the road as he takes on charity challenge

A Lanarkshire biker was an easy rider recently as he raised funds for a charity close to his heart.Eddie Larkin is a member of the Glasgow Slow Riderz group, and the 21 strong outfit decided they wanted to help out a good cause.

The Cambuslang man joined his pals in taking part in a specialist scavenger hunt from the Great Western Retail Park to Inveraray to The Green Welly and beyond, all in search of Spiney the Diney - the cuddly mascot toy for the Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus (SBH) Scotland charity.

He told Lanarkshire Live : "This was not an average bike run. We were delighted to do something for charity and once we’d chosen SBH Scotland, we realised the charity had personal connections with many of our friends and family which made it all the more special.
